I don’t usually make pancake for breakfast since we are really not morning people. Most of the times we would be having early lunch, or brunch. So I knew that the only person who would be attacking these would be me.

It’s ok. Attacked it I did because it contained two things I like : chocolate and orange. So OK in the form of OJ, but hey, still orange, yea?

So here’s the very simple recipe.
Enjoy!

Chocolatey orange pancake

CHOCOLATEY ORANGE PANCAKE

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain flour, sifted
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • zest from one orange
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Method

  1. Mix everything except the chocolate chips. Then strain through a sieve, and then only fold in the chocolate chips.
  2. Let it sit for about 30 minutes in the fridge, then fry as usual.
