5:47 pm Curry Dish, Dinner, Home Cooking
Now tell me, do you tend to cook the same thing over and over again? What dish would you cook again, and again. And again?
For me, it would be fish curry. All of us love fish curry, me, the husband, and Pumpkin. She loves it very much that she would pass even her favorite chicken soup if given the choice.
The husband, on the other hand, used not to like anything curryish. But not anymore.

I cooked this one three weeks ago. It was one of those last minute thingy, and we don’t even have any veggies to put in it. But still I cooked it, and made some stir fry veggies on the side instead. Was it good? Definitely! I already put up the recipe here and here (depending on what I have at hand), so go have a look see, okay. And I used barramundi this time around.

And I cooked another fish curry dish today. Talk about being redundant. Again, I used the same fish, barramundi. What’s the deal, you might ask. Well, my husband bought three barramundis, that is why. I would usually steam the whole fish in a sourish hot sauce, but since I cooked it the last time, I am hooked. The flesh is so sweet like you wouldn’t believe it, and yet the hot curry seemed to compliment it well. This time around, I planned ahead, so the regular vegetables were present tee hee….
But then vegetables or no, we still love our fish curry.
Especially if it is salmon fish curry. Oh yum.
Lin,
My mom bought these 30 years ago, and she asked me to use it because it is light. Memang bunga lama kan ni?
