We decided to go eat out for dinner on the husband’s birthday. So, off we go to Jack’s Place over at OU, the first time eating at that establishment for both of us. We had no expectations whatsoever other than hoping that things would go smoothly and Pumpkin wouldn’t be too loud or raucous. We could only hope.
Upon our arrival, we were promptly seated, and given our menus. Even Pumpkin was given a menu (for ogling the colorful food, that is), and I probably took too much times reviewing the menu since Pumpkin decided to wake me up from my reverie.
Yes. She knocked down the small vase, and yes, it contained water for they have fresh flowers! *Laughs*. Thankfully there were not that many customers around since it was past dinner hours, so the waitstaff were very attentive and helpful towards our predicament.
One materialized in a snap, and wipe down the water, and one promptly took my order.
The food arrived within 20 minutes after ordering, and it was not bad, really. It was not as expensive as TGiF or Chillis, but the portion is smaller, of course.
The husband ordered sirloin steak, and I ordered one of the set dinner menu, with starter, soup, entree and coffee. We ordered salmon for Pumpkin, and hey, they were good. Way better than what we had in TG, and cheaper. Very good, that.
So anyway, here are some of the dishes that we ate that night. Forget to mention that the husband ordered escargot. Yes. It was not as good at the ones that we always enjoy in Paris, but hey, it was pretty decent, really.

All of us enjoyed our dinner that night, and the bill didn’t break the bank. I don’t exactly remember how much things costs, but probably I would be able to find out somewhere and put it here.
