12:12 am Disastrous attempts
How could anyone screw at this? I think I screwed it, though the husband thought that it was just fine. Probably I myself don’t like bread pudding, ditto my dissatisfactions?
That could be it, yeah?

Anyway, I just happen to take some photos of the pudding after I was done baking it. The pudding was a tad too yellowy for my liking. I used margarine (yikes, I know) instead of butter because we were out and I couldn’t be bothered to go out and get some. And see what happened after I baked it. It turned this ugly burnt yellow.
Sigh.
I really should have gone out and bought that darn butter.
Stupid. I know.

See, had the recipe all written up. But then, I did not have any raisins, nor would I get any since I don’t really fancy adding that to the pudding. Don’t have the peaches, or the fruit cocktail, either, though I really thought I had it at hand. What did I have? Lychees in can. Tee hee. And yes, I used that. :p
It looked burnt, ain’t it? But it tasted fine, though I must admit the color really puts me off. Would I want to try baking more bread pudding in the future? Honestly? I don’t think so.
I probably would eat it, provided somebody else baked it.
